The Finsteraarrothorn (3,530 m11,581.365 ft
2.193 miles) is a mountain in the Bernese Alps, in the canton of Valais and forms the south corner of the Finsteraarhorn Group.

From Oberaarjoch Hut cross the Studer Glacier up the Gemschlicke (3,335m). At the Gemschlicke you can make a backpack depot. Over a brittle NW ridge (II) you'll reach the summit. Back via same ridge to Gemslicke. This climb can be combined when crossing from Oberaarjoch Hut via the Gemschlicke to Finsteraarhorn Hut.

From Finsteraarhorn Hut descend the Fiescher Glacier to 2,850m, then up the Gemschlicke (3,335m). At the Gemschlicke you can make a backpack depot. Over a brittle NW ridge (II) you'll reach the summit.
