The Gleckstein Hut (German: Glecksteinhütte) at 2,317 m is located on the SW side of the Wetterhorn on a rockspur that ovelooks the Oberer Grindelwald glacier. The walk up to the hut offers nice views of the Eiger and the Schreckhorn Group

The hut 74 places and 16 sleepingplaces in 4-bed rooms. In winter there are 32 places available.

• Interlaken - Grindelwald - Hotel Wetterhorn, via P.1590, Ischpfad and Engi in 3.5 h to the hut.(in 2.5 when you take the postbus to stop Glecksteinweg Im undren Loichbiel.
