Approach Route
- From Alagna Valsesia:
Walk or take the bus to the parking area at the roadhead (1,500 m). Follow the track on the N side of the river (Acqua Bianca) to the chalets at Pt. 1,603 m. Continue heading NW to the head of the valley. Cross two streams descending from Alpe Vigne and then climb a steep path to the L end of a rock barrier. A fork R here leads to the Barba-Ferrero Hut at Alpe Vigne Sup. Keep L and cross a stream to get onto the crest of the moraine. Follow this until a sort of ramp leads off on its L side. Follow this (some snow patches) to its end and then climb directly up to the hut at the top of a rock step. (6h from the roadhead)
