[edit] General information

Mittelallalin (3,456 m) is more a mountain pass than an actual mountain and is situated above Saas Fee. Mittelallalin is part of the Mischabel group in Valais, Switzerland. This place is well known for the revolving restaurant which is the highest in the world.

Mittelallalin is the starting point for an ascent of the Allalinhorn via the Hinter Allalingrat, the NE Face or the normal route via the WNW Ridge.

Mittelallalin can be reached by foot, starting in Saas Fee, although this is rarely done because of the extensive presence of skilifts and skitrains which can take you to Mittelallalin in no time.

[edit] Route from Saas Fee (Lifts)

From Saas Fee, take a cable car to Felskinn. From there, you take the Metro Alpin to Mittelallalin. Easy, isnt't it?
