[edit] General information
Nordend mountain is located on the Monte Rosa massif.
[edit] ROUTES
The most popular route starts from Zermatt travelling with train up to Rotenboden and continuing towards the Monte Rosa Hut. Mountain can also be climbed from Italy.
[edit] SOUTH RIDGE
When ascending towards the south ridge one follows exactly the same path which leads on the Dufourspitze, but one continues straight ahead when the Dufourspitze path turns towards right. At the path junction one sees properly both mountains. The path ends up on the Silbersattel and the south ridge belonging to Nordend starts at left side.
