The Oberto hut (Italian: Rifugio Gaspare Oberto) (2,796 m9,173.228 ft
1.737 miles) is a mountain hut above Macugnaga in the Pennine Alps in Italy. It's a private hut but run by the CAI. Situated just E of and below the top of the télépherique lift station on the Italian side of the Monte Moropass. Open at all time when the lift is operating.

Italian side
Most people will approach from Macugnaga by lift; walking from Staffa takes 4h
Swiss side
- From Saas Almagell (Mattmark): (2,5h)
Signposted from the Mattmark dam car park. Follow the roadway on the W side of the reservoir to its S end then continue on a good path to Tälliboden. The path continues up the hillside on the R. Starting from a 4 m high boulder it slants SE up slabby ramps with steps in places and a cable in one spot and is marked with paint flashes all the way. A signpost and more paint flashes lead to the statue and crossing point. Snow patches can persist until late in the season. Scramble down from the statue on the Monte Moropass to the lift station.
