 Approach Route
There are several (rather hard) approach routes.
shoulder of Zinalrothorn - Col de Moming - Pointe Nord de Moming - Hohlichtpass - Schalihorn. In the last section of the N ridge of the Schalihorn, a gendarme bars the passage (3,821 m). Go down the E slope and go the hut.
Join Pt. 3,142 m S of the Weisshorn Glacier. A transfer, by a mixed climbing, makes it possible to join a stiff snow-covered slope, which carries out on the N ridge of the Schalihorn, right before the gendarme at 3,821 m. But the traditional way starts from the rocky outcrop at 3,283 m. Climb along the rock face to the coll.
