| Village_name | Name of the village. Try to use the original name in the local language or the most commonly used name. |
| Also known as | Other frequent name(s) for the same village. If possible try to include the language(s) of the foreign/other name(s). |
| Photo | Photograph of the village. Preferably a distance shot that shows distinctive characteristics. |
| Caption | Description of the photograph which is displayed below. Include the month and year if known. |
| Flag | Coat of arms or the flag of the village. Will be automatically resized and placed next to the general information. If no image is mentioned, a blank coat of arms will be placed. |
| Country | Country of the village. Extracted automatically. |
| Canton | Subdivision of the country; Canton or province. Extracted automatically. |
| District | Smallest subdivision of a canton that makes sense. |
| Language | Local language that is mainly spoken in the village. |
| Surrounded | A list of surrounding villages. Be sure to discuss any uncertainties in the talk page. |
| Postal_code | Postal code of the village. |
| SFOS | SFO code of the village. |
| Population | Population of the village. |
| Pop_year | The year when the population was counted. |
