| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name of the route. For example: Alphubel: West Rib. |
| Elevation | The altitude of the summit the route leads to. This is nowadays extracted from the Mountain infobox |
| Duration | The duration of the route: 2h, 3h, 4,5h etc. |
| Type | The type of route. Use Snow, Glacier, Rock where appropriate. Combinations are also possible. |
| Difficulty | Difficulty of the route. For European alpine routes, use the french rating grades between angel brackets ({{}} and an image will be generated. |
| Base | The name of the starting village. This is the village from where you start when you go to an intermediate point such as a hut or a basecamp. Also add the altitude of the base village. |
| Hut | The name of the mountain hut you need in this route. Also add the altitude of the hut. |
| topo | The topographic maps that are needed for this route. Swiss SLK maps, such as 1348: Zermatt, can be automatically added by using the nr. of the map between angel brackets ({{}}). Other maps can be added manually. |
