Approach Route
- From Randa:
There are several approach routes from Randa which all link up by the time they reach Jatz at 2,246 m. From Randa village cross the bridge over the Mattervispa then follow the path heading roughly SW. From Wildi cross the bridge over the Mattervispa opposite the sports field and pick up a path heading SW. From the camp site of Atermenzen cross the Mattervispa by one of the bridges N or S of the site and follow paths to the farm at 1,618 m. All the routes signpost the hut and each of one provides a sustained up hill walk. From Jatz the path is less steep but still quite sustained as it heads roughly WSW to the hut. (4-5h)
